Angie Ashworth is a retired teacher with 34 years of classroom experience. The last 20 years of her career were as a kindergarten teacher with a concentration on developing the handwriting skills of her students through direct and explicit instruction.

During this time, Angie worked closely with Carol Armann and made full use of the Zaner Blosser handwriting program. From the time ZB began their National Handwriting Contest, Angie had a state winner in her kindergarten class as well as 1 national winner.

Today, Angie is an active member and volunteer at her church, secretary and board member of the Newport EMS Inc., secretary of the WCRTA and a new member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
